VISION & CORE VALUES OF CHRISTLIKE DISCIPLEMAKERS MOVEMENT

MISSION:

2 Tim. 2:2; 1 Cor. 11:1 Spreading Christlikeness worldwide.

VISION:

Training, coaching and equipping centers for strategic Christlike Disciplemakers with a goal of discipling the world, who are also continually reproducing their kind: growing, teaching, training, building- character, mentoring and reproducing.

CORE VALUES:

PASSION FOR

1)    Christlikeness, Intimacy with God, Transformation and Spiritual Growth

a)  We strongly believe that it is possible and mandatory to imitate Christ. (1 Cor. 11:1; 1 Pet. 2:21-23; Rom. 8:29; 2 Cor.3:18; Col. 2:28; 1 Jn.3:1-3.). This standard we struggle to attain through a burning personal desire for Christlike love and intimacy with God and intentional, pro-active spiritual growth principles and disciplines.

2)    Strategic Disciplemaking & Mentoring, Servant Leadership: Life rubs on life.

a)  We have committed ourselves to making disciples strategically in order to focus on fulfilling the Great Commission within each generation. Through mentoring and being mentored we desire to model Christlike Servant leadership in authentic small groups across denominational boundaries. We seek faithful, available, teachable, fruitful and obedient disciples to train as disciplemakers as the method for finishing the task. The disciple is not above his master; but if he is perfectly trained, he shall be as his master ( Matt. 28:18-20; 4:19; Acts 2:38-41; 4:4; 6:1,6,7; Lk. 6:40).

3)    Gifts, Ministry & Calling: Discovery, Development and Use in Excellence

a)  We have a fierce passion for helping every child of God to discover God’s call upon his/her life. Like Christ, to strive to excel in developing and using one’s gifts, talents and abilities to serve God and mankind and ultimately to finish the work for which God sent you into the world. (Jn. 4:34; 6:38; 17:4; Acts 20:23,24; 2 Tim. 4:7,8.)

4)    Soulwinning, Reproduction & Fruitfulness

a)  We fiercely emphasize passion for souls, soulwinning, reproduction and fruitfulness in every area of life: character change, use of talents/gifts and disciplemaking. We believe that fruitbearing glorifies God and proves we are Christ’s disciples. (Jn. 15:1,2,4-8,16; Lk.13:6-9; Is. 5:1-8; Matt. 25:14-31).

5)    Bible Mastery & Obedience: Hearing, Reading, Studying, Memorization & Meditation with Application

a)  We stress Christlike Bible Mastery. We believe that the word of Christ can dwell richly in every child of God who makes the effort to hear, read, study, memorize and meditate upon the scriptures with a determination to obey them. We encourage all to read through or listen to  the whole Bible at least once a year. (Ps. 119:11; Josh. 1:8; Rom. 10:17; 2 Tim. 3:16,17; Col. 3:16; Jn. 17:17; Heb. 8:10,11).

6)    Christian love: Brotherly Love and Unity, Team spirit, Networking with Gifts and Ministries

a)  We are zealous for loving one another as Christ has commanded and demonstrated across tribal, denominational, political, national, racial, gender, social and economic boundaries. We desire to uphold the unity of the Spirit as one body of Christ, to foster genuine team spirit and exercise continuous grace and forgiveness towards one another. We pursue networking with the appropriate gifts and ministries. We believe that love and discipline go hand in hand, and conflicts must be managed for God’s glory(Jn. 13:34,35; 15:9,12; Phil. 2:1-8; Eph. 4:32; 5:2; 1 Cor. 12:12-27; Matt. 5:23,24; 18:15-20; Lk. 17:4-10).

7)    Family Life, Relationships, Care for the Underprivileged: Husband & Wife Ministry, etc.

a)  We uphold sanctity of marriage and family life with the understanding that husbands and wives model Christ and his church; that children are a heritage from the Lord and ruling one’s house well indicates ability to lead God’s people well. Not caring for one’s family is equal to denying the faith. We believe that God cares for the poor and needy, widows and orphans, the sick, marginalized and social outcasts(Eph. 5:23-33; 1 Tim. 3:1-10; Ps. 127:3-6; 1 Tim. 5:8; Lk. 4:18: 14:11-14).

8)    Prayer, Fasting Emphasis, Solitude, Silence, Hearing God

a)  We are strong on intense, faithful and unceasing prayer, fasting and spiritual warfare. We must grow in hearing God better through waiting, solitude and silence. The prayer life of Jesus is our model. We encourage increasing amount of time in God’s presence daily to build a Christlike life of faith and spiritual authority. (Lk. 5:16; 6:12;18:1; Mk. 1:35; Matt. 26:36-46. Heb. 5:7,8; Jn. 5:19,30; 14:12-14.)

9)    Enforcing Holiness of Character alongside with the Anointing of the Spirit (Gifts & Fruit; Character & Charisma).

a)  We are uncompromising on holiness and Christlike character formation balanced by the anointing of the Spirit. We teach that grace enables us to say ‘no’ to sin and live zealously for good works. We endorse all the charismatic, ministry and operational gifts manifesting in a godly and orderly way. Testing of the spirits and disciplined behavior pleases God. (Acts 10:38; Heb. 1:8-11; Tit. 2:11-14; 1 Jn.4:1-3; 1 Cor. 5:9-13; Heb. 12:5-12.)

10)  The Urgency of Fulfilling the Great Commission within one Generation; Cross-cultural Evangelism.

a)  We are urgent on the preaching of the gospel and finishing the task of world evangelism by every godly means. Souls won and baptized must be provided with a church within walking distance in their mother tongue. We believe that godly cross-cultural strategies and technology can help us fulfill the Great Commission within our generation. (Matt. 24:14; Mk. 16:15-16; Lk. 24:47,48; Acts 1:8; Rev. 5:9;7:9).
